We are doing a philanthropic project to support the local County Fire Plane and are trying to raise funds to buy the pilots and observers of the Patrol Nomex flight shirts with a unique 60th year anniversary screen on the back. Please consider helping the cause by ordering one of these cool T-shirts.
There was a limited run of shirts made with 100% of the proceeds going toward the patrol. Funds will be joined with local personal and corporate donations and used explicitly to cover the costs of the T-shirts and the cost of 15 Nomex flight uniforms for the 11 pilots and observers. All design and project management fees have been donated by Elephas Creative and Av Threads. Once we cover the cost, these shirts will be removed form the web with the remainder being sold at this summers Plymouth Airshow where the Fire Plane will be on display held in Aug at KPYM.
Special thanks to Mike Goulian Aerosports and NextAir Avionics for their support.
Shirt is a high quality Bella Canvas unisex short sleeve navy T, made from 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton. Shirt color is "Heather Navy." Final textile color may vary from illustration. Shirt is super comfy and great quality.
Background. The Plymouth County Fire Plane 1-0 is a 1958 Piper PA-18. Coming on line in the fall of 1958, it's now flying its 60th year of service assisting in the protection of Eastern Massachusetts' Plymouth County from fire. "The search for smoke!"
The aircraft is overseen by the Plymouth County Fire Chiefs Association and is operated by the County of Plymouth.
